Hi, I've taken about 12 Clearblue Digital Tests since Tuesday...two have said PREGNANT and the others have said NOT PREGNANT. The last positive was today...I was also got a negative blood test last week. What the h__l!? Am I pregnant or not???

I know how you feel. I got an obvious positvie HPT with Accu-Clear one morning and the next morning negative with first respond. I don't know what's going on, but I'll wait for another week b4 I test again. Good luck to you.

I'm in the same boat I took 5 test and I got 2 positive the 1st and the 4th. I go for a blood test on Monday.

Thanks for the sympathy, it's good to know we're all in the same boat...I have an apointment for a (second) blood test on Monday. To top it off, my doctor has had me taking Provera to induce a period. I'm really hoping that if I am pregnant, this will not have caused any damage to the baby...

The nurse @ Kaiser wouldn't schedule me for a blood test, she told me to wait for several more days and test again b4 I go in for a blood test. I would love to find out what you girls's results are. Keep me posted.

Mar, if you think you are pregnant, STOP TAKING PROVERA!!! If you are pregnant, and it is viable, the provera will fool your body into thinking it's not, and it will expell the embryo. Then you really won't be. If you're not pregnant, it's probably not going to hurt you to be a little late for AF. Is AF pretty regular usually? I don't put a whole lot of stock in HPT's. There's too much room for error, and if you're not getting a line as dark as the control line, I would seriously doubt you are pregnant.

Bohnwin, AF is always irregular. In fact, I haven't had it since 8/17. This is why they are inducing it with Provera. But I think I ovulated on 9/28 (positive OPK). Then on Tuesday, the Clearblue digital said PREGNANT. When I looked at the lines, they looked like they were the same intensity. I then got a bunch of BFNs, and then yesterday a PREGNANT again. I've definitely stopped the Provera...but I just don't believe I'm pregnant. How could I possibly get so many BFNs and still be pregnant??

I would definately ask your doc or NP for an ultrasound to be sure (especially if you have medical insurance that will pay for it). They should be able to by now see at least a gestational sac. If there is no sac, then take the provera to induce AF. Like I said, I don't like HPT's. False positives can be caused by letting it sit for too long, heterophile antibodies (these are antibodies that your body produces in response to viral infections) and certain proteins that are excreted in your urine because of exercise, diet, environmental factors, etc. Nothing beats a good old fashioned u/s or just plain old time. To tell you the truth, my AF was never regular, and I was even told (by my doc) that I could never conceive without fertilty drugs. Three months later I was late with AF, and I had my friend draw my blood (I am a lab tech) and I ran my own test. I was pregnant with my daughter who is now 20 months old. My point is that docs don't know everything.
