Good Question About Hpt S

if you don't lay the tes flat but you held it still in your hand could that cause a false positive result? I ask b/c I've recently thought I was pregnant for the last 8 weeks then af showed. I got a few faint positives when af was origionally due in april. But I got negs since then including a bloodtest. I just took the other hpt left in the pack just for fun and it came out positive! Darker than the positives I was getting last month. What do you think?

first response was the one I took. i couldn't be pegnant from this past month b/c i haven't had s_x since the april 8th when I origionally suspected I conceived.

I think you should go to the ER. It sounds like you ARE pregnant and if you are bleeding you could be having a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. Go to the ER and tell them you are pregnant and bleeding.....they will do an ultrasound. Good luck.

I went to the er last month but when the tes was neg they denied me the u/s even though my home test was positive. If I'm pregnant then I'm having light periods because they come exactly on time, but that d__n hpt it had to be positive. My last bloodtest was 2 weeks ago.

the reason I went to the er last month was because I started my period and thought I was having a miscarriage and was told I wasn't pregnant. Period tapered off rather quickly, pregnancy symptoms got more intense and continued so we did the bloodwork, neg, and here is my af again very light and quick, with a + hpt again.
