again thank you. i do truly understand what u r sayng and i agree with u. I read so many of these messages and find some of things women say to be alittle crazy but in the end i find the fact that so many women want to have children and wonder and feel pregnant even when they are not. to me that is crazy and beautiful all in the same. i hold them in my heart and wish them the best. As for me i already have 2 children my youngest will be 2 in January. I felt her move when i was 16/17 weeks pregnant. At this time i was not trying to get pregnant and my husband and i were going to wait until next year to try again. You see i can only take progesterone only bcp because i had a stroke when i was little. There for regular bcp are not safe for me. I covceived my last child while taking that exact pill so being on bcp's and making some mistakes i have not had a normal period for over 3 1/2 month but i cannot tell exactly how long it has been. Mostly spotting for months. i also have been producing b___st milk, not lots but it is there. The blue veins on my shoulder leading to my chest are becoming darker and more noticed. Well anyways only time will tell and for now i enjoy the children (and stay busy, i couldn't imagine how it is at your house :)) i already have.

Karen, you're not crazy, you are feeling what you are feeling. Just not sure if it is pregnancy. If you already have children and especially if you b___stfed at all, but even if you didn't, you can have some sort of lactation for years after you've stopped. I still can get milk out and I stopped nursing 6 months ago. Also, our b___sts will change through out a cycle and look like it did when we first got pg. I have the same thing going on with me now, including the Montgomery glands showing on one b___st. See, any normal woman would think that she is pregnant, that doesn't make you crazy. As for bpc, I can't take those either, it makes me very ill. Provero isn't bcp (that's Depo Provero); but I'm not sure about the Progesteron content in it. All I know is that it put my body back on track with cycling and I got pg (and i wasn't TTC, because I believed the doctors who said I never would) Even after i had my first, they said that it was a fluke and it would never happen again, i believed them then. Are you going to go to the doctors and get another sono? I hope so. I will let you guys know how it goes for me on Monday. I am sure they are going to say that I'm not. So, I am preparing myself for that. It's funny, I am experiencing all signs of pregnancy, with the exception being full b__wn nausea. I get little bouts, but with all of my other pg's I was very sick from 7th -13th week. My first I actually stayed sick the entire pregnancy. So, that coupled with the neg HPT's and blood tests let me know I will probably get a negative sono. I do hope that they can tell me why all of these other symptoms are occuring. The hardest one they are going to have to explain is my b___sts are the size they were when I was nursing. I have grown 1 1/2 size in the cup. Not that I mind that! But I don't like wondering all of the time. But I am resolved to not go over the deep end and insist that I am if the sono shows that I am not. Yes, some women have really skipped into the land of make believe in here. Have you read Negative Sono but still pg? Whoa! Serious what the mind can do to you if you let it. Are you and dh TTC? I am glad to hear that you have 2. Yes, my house does get a little crazy from time to time, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. The nice thing is that my children are separated by age enough to where it is do-able. I have a 17yr old, 15 yr. old, 12 yr old, 5 yr old, 3 yr old and my baby turns 2 next month. So the older ones help from time to time. :)

No i didn't read that one about negative sono and still preg. I did read one where two women had neg. blood and neg. urine and went to the er for pain and delivered babies. Please keep me posted and let me know how your sono goes. good luck

Well, it is still Mother of 6, no #7. Please don't feel bad for me, I really am blessed with 6. But, I did find out what is wrong with me. Funny enough, it is all related to PMS! I have never had it before and didn't know that you can exhibit signs of pregnancy with it. The good thing is that they can treat it and I don't have to feel pregnant anymore. I am so happy that I'm not insane! (Well, at least as far as this is concerned...LOL) I asked the Sonographer a LOT of questions that may help some of you. One of which was about how soon they could see a sign of pregnancy in an ultrasound. As soon as 2 weeks gestation after implantation. The faint lines I got were indeed evaporation lines. I asked my doctor about the false positive on the digital. He said that he has had 5 women in 1 month get false positives on that test. He feels as I do, they make a OPK test kit that is identical to the HPT kit. He thinks that some of the test strips are getting mixed up or that the chromometer (measures the density of the color on the second line we see) is messed up. I didn't even have a chem pregnancy. Anyway, I want to continue to help any of you that want it. I do know some things, though not everything about being pregnant and getting that way. So that you know, the women who get all of the tests that say negative and end up in the delivery room 9 months later are less than .0001%. Yes, it can happen, but you have to realize that is so out of the ordinary that the chances it could be you or I are less than winning the lotto. That is why I say healthy minds, healthy bodies. My OB is also an infertility specialist, a good one at that, so he's pretty knowlegable about TTC. I send to you my very fertile baby dust!!!!

Tara, It all depends on a few things. How old you are, are your cycles usually normal, have you been under any kind of stress, are you having any signs of pregnancy? Let's just say that you have normal cycles and are not old enough for perimenapause. If you are 10 weeks late and getting BFN's on HPT's then I would go to your doctor and get a Quantative blood test. This test measures the amount of HCG in your system. If that is negative then I would ask your doctor to investigate the problem. It isn't normal to skip cycles. Mandy, the orginator of the first thread was a rarity. But even she didn't have a pregnancy blood test done on her due to really bad care on her doctor's part. I'm sure if she had had one, it would have been positive. It is very rare, (yes, I know that it happens) to have a negative urine test and still be pregnant this far out. There are things like the hook affect that your hcg level is so high that the test doesn't recognise it, but again, that is rare. For my own experience, even the most experienced of us at being pregnant can be fooled by our bodies. If I hadn't had all of the tests, I would have sworn to everyone that I was pregnant. But what it turned out to be was severe PMS amplified by not having a period. My body is stuck in that mode of right before your period and sense I wasn't having one, it kept compiling the hormones and making them worse, thus I felt more and more pregnant. I have a very good OB/GYN that is also an Infertility Specialist, he practically has an alphabet behind his MD. He knows his business, that is for sure. If you can, find a good doctor who will listen to your problem and solve it. If you are TTC, they can put you on Provera (Not the DEPO) to jump start your cycle and then you can move on to TTC. My first 2 children were conceived after 1 dose of that stuff! Anyway, if you don't have insurance, PP will do it for about $20. You will have to insist that they do it and let them know how long it has been since your LMP. I don't particularly care for them, so there are also Catholic Charity centers for pregnancy that can help, and they tend to be a little more understanding. I hope this helps. Very fertile baby dust to you all!

Thanks for the answers. I am 25. I have a six month old. My cycles were normal before I got pregnant. but snice then I have had only 3 periods. The first 2 were 28 days apart. The next was 6 weeks and now it has been nearly 10. I'm no t having any pregnancy symptoms. I had really bad morning sickness with my son. So I don't think that I am, but do realize that their is always a chance if there is no period. I was on birth control for a month, but have been off for nearly 4 months. I would love to be pregnant again. If you have any more answers I would love to hear them. Thanks for your help this far!

Janine, Wow, I am so amazed by some women's doctors. Mine wouldn't let me leave his office without understanding fully what they found. Is this an off site Ultrasound? For all of you to know, you have a RIGHT to see the screen when they are scanning YOUR body. The sonographer may be just a technician and not understand that. But you do have rights. They cannot give you a diagnosis if they are just a tech, but they can certainly (especially if you ask very politely) let you know if they see a baby. I am so upset that ya'll get treated this way! MAN! sorry, my PMS is acting up, I mean gosh, we only live in 2006 right? Anyway, enough soap boxing for me. Janine sweetie, I'm sorry this is dragging out for you. The best thing you can do know is get the results from your doc. I pray that they are good, whatever you want them to be. If not and you want to TTC, we can work on that. (Not in the literal sense of course LOL)

Tara, Did you b___stfeed? That can make your cycles wacky. The pill is a funny thing, it can take months to get back on track. Having a 6 month old and waking up nights if she/he isn't sleeping through the night yet can make your cycle out of wack as well. heck, just having a baby can do it. Mine bounce all over the place after my 6. If it has been 10 weeks, and you are only 25, go to the doc and get a blood test. That should let you know either way. If it is negative, then ask him for something (as long as you aren't b___stfeeding) to start your period. If you are TTC, ask for Provero (not the DEPO) it is 10 pills/ 1 x day and then you should have a period within 4 days after that. Now, be very careful not to TTC while taking this pill, that can be dangerous. But this pill should push your cycles into gear for the following month. So, you could end up TTC in December...might get an early Christmas gift! :) Provera isn't for everyone, so check with your doc. My 2 Provera babies are now 17 and 15. Now, if you read my 1st postings you know that I wasn't supposed to have children. My periods were almost non existant at that point. So, this might help..! My chair of fertility spreading very sticky baby dust to all!!!

All my tests came back normal so i guess it is just the birth control My doctor said that if i dont get my period by november 13 to come back and he will give me that pill that you talked about that i will take for 10 days to start my period he also said that he would test me one more time before he gives it to me just to be sure even though nothing was found on the ultrasound (he got the results today guess they just said friday to cover in case it took that long) anyways thanks for all the help good luck to everyone glad to have had someone to talk to through this
