Hey everyone my husband and I have tickets to go to a concert this weekend and it's going to be pretty loud I'm sure, I didn't think about the baby being affected by an hour and half of loud music but I'm not so sure now... I was reading that the babies ears are starting to work...Does anyone know anything more about this... I don't want to go if there's any chance of it affecting the baby... Please give advice!!!!

what concert are you going to? what kind of music? I went to see pearl jam when I was 12 weeks and that was pretty heavy. I asked the doctor and she told me to use my discretion. I got up from my seat and walked around the venue, and drank a lot of water soi had to get up and go pee, and i did this every thime i thought it was getting too ba__sy or too loud etc.

It's System of a Down - so it's pretty heavy at times... I'm no too worried about it but I just don't want to do anything that could cause harm....

I read that short term exposure (as in a concert) is ok, just not long term. we went to se xmen3 and for the whole movie, my baby was jumping around in my belly. It was a pretty loud movie, so I think that's why :)
