A Little Too Obsessed With Belly

Since I can't fit into pre-pregnancy clothes anymore, yet I'm barely showing, I find myself very self-conscious about wearing maternity clothes. I keep wondering if it's normal to be this size at 16 weeks, so I have been checking website with pictures of pregnant bellies at this state. Does anyone feel that way, or is everyone content to just show when they show? I feel like showing this early indicates being overweight or something, but I'm sure it's in my head. :)

It's okay, you're not the only one. Looks like most of the women who post here are pretty obsessed with the same thing, along with whether they're having a girl or boy. Just as long as you're all equally concerned with baby's health...

At about 4 months I wasn't able to fit in my clothes either. I felt the same way but oh well I am not going to be uncomfortable in pre-pregnacy clothes. I am 19 weeks now and I haven't gained any weight at all but I am definitly getting bigger now go figure... Your fine

this is my second and I did the EXACT same thing about checking for pregnancy pics of women at different stages. finally I just said screw it and started wearing them. the whole point behind maternity clothes is to make you more comfy.....

I started with a pooch which has now been pushed up under my chest by my expanding uterus making me very uncomfortable. No fun:(

I have never felt more confortable than in Maternity pants. I'd wear em even if I wasn't preggo! They are very comfortable and nowadays very stylish. Most people can't tell they are Maternity Pants. I say go and wear em whenever you want! Who cares! You'll praise the inventor of Mat. Pants trust me. I have been wearing them since 13 weeks I was tired of my b___tons digging into me.

I am 18 weeks and hardly showing but my regular clothes dont fit so I got a pair of maternity jeans and wear them. No one can even tell they are maternity and they are much more comfortable and I am not gonna have to buy more pants when I do start growing.

I know how you feel. I am 25 weeks and people are just now starting to tell that I am actually pregnant and not overweight. Don't worry about it- your belly will grow as it needs to. Good Luck!!

Its cute to show when you are showing and hiding it will just upset you went through that. This is my first child. Good luck.

im 15 weeks and very in between. Im barely showing, but i still can't fit into my pre pregnancy clothes. overall i guess you can say i just feel fat. But im not really stressin about having a big belly. It will happen when it happens. As long as the babies healthy thats pretty much all i care about

I'm 19 weeks now, & just in the past week, my belly's popping out. And as a result, my back's starting to ache. It's nice to show, but sorta wish I hadn't been quite so anxious now. We get what we wish for, I guess.
