Baby Movement On One Side

I am 26 weeks pregnant and so far I have only felt the baby move on my left side. He moves quite a bit but always to the left. Is that normal? This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember anything like this with my daughter but it was also 6 years ago. So far all else is normal (as much as can be expected with a pregnancy!)

I don't see why it wouldn't be... from what I've read, they have their favorite little spots in your uterus and even favorite sleeping positions. That could just be the most comfy spot! ;)

My little one loves my left side. I feel her all over but she definitely gets settled into her favorite spot.

I am only 13 weeks...I feel the baby the most on my right side, I was thinking that the other day, cuz the doc is questioning twins...I thought if I felt it on both sides that would help me find out while she is deciding when to do another u/s!!!! But I can feel it under my rib and right under my belly b___ton alot!!!! The baby has been moving for about 3 weeks now(3rd child). So I would think that is normal...what xvkx said sounds right...they like to be comfy in their small space!!!

Yessica, I would mention it to your doc, just to be on the safe side. I don't want to scare you or anything, but my daughter only moved on my right side throughout my entire pregnancy and she was stillborn at 40 wks due to a cord accident. My doc was gone the weekend I delivered, but the doc who did my delivery mentioned that I possibly had a bicornuate uterus (DD was also in breech position). It was my first pregnancy and I didn't know any better, but looking back, I noticed that she always stayed on the right. Mention it to your doc and see if you can get another u/s just to rule anything out. I would never want anyone else to endure what I have gone through, which is why I am sharing this with you. Good luck!
