I use plenty of pillows with one between my legs so my sides don't hurt. Your ligaments are stretching, not to mention everything else that's being moved out of the way because the baby. As for that stupid bowel movement I use Colace. It's perfectly safe, my doctor recommended it to me.( take it from someone whose pipes were clogged for 5 days) . It's like draino, it works like a charm.

Would it be OK if you sleep on back? I do allways does it hurt my baby? I am 16 weeks. Please help

Sleeping on your back can cause problems with backaches, breathing, digestive system, hemorrhoids, low blood pressure and decrease in circulation to your heart and your baby. This is a result of your abdomen resting on your intestines and major blood vessels (the aorta and vena cava).

Try one of those pregnancy pillows you can buy them at babies r us I used one with my son and it helped. As far as the muscle spasms go I don't know what to tell ya I got Charlie Horses in my legs during the night with my son and they were horrible! If you can go #2 try drinking nothing but water. I had the same problem and had hemroids pretty bad and started drinking lots of water and it has been helping keep me regular. Or try eating rasberries and blueberries (I buy them frozen).
