what does it mean when doc sayes that water bag does not have enough fluid in it? he sayes baby is almost out of swimming room. has this ever happened to anyone? what can i do and what problems can it cause for baby? i am 21 weeks.

I never heard this before.....It does sound like something to be concerned about but then would'nt/should'nt your Dr. have told you more! Call the office and see what it really means and let us know!

gosh, didn't your doctor tell you about the problems, and what can be done about it? Did he say you should consume more water? I'd be mad at my doctor if he told me such a thing and didn't bother to give me more info about it or let me know what to do.

The baby needs amniotic fluid for the lungs to develop properly. The amniotic fluid is made up mostly of the baby's urine. Call your doctor and ask how severe the problem is and what can be done. Also ask if it has something to do with your baby's kidney function.
