Take him to your drs appointments and for ultrasounds! My husband went with me for an ultrasound and I think it made it more real to him. Good luck!

Taylor, this is a tough question! At 20 weeks I think my husband can feel the baby kick and I think that might really help things out! (I'm 17w right now) It is frusterating that I can feel it kick and he can't right now - it takes alot of patience right now b/c it is really sporatic. I also try to talk about "our baby" so it kind of includes him, and tell him occasionally that I think he'll make a wonderful dad (he loves kids). Like, I try to tell him how grateful I am that I'm not going through this on my own. I mean, I COULD but, wow, you know, it'd be harder and scarier. It also helps I think when you start showing. I'm showing a little bit and dh is kind of proud of it. I let him take pics of my in a sports bra and shorts b/c he wants to do some kind of slide show of how big I get. Ok, to me I'm getting fatter and bulgier but he actually enjoys this so I try to smile when he takes pictures! Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy!! :)
