I'm 26 weels amd I'm not feeling the baby move much. I actually haven't really felt him today. Last week and the few weeks prior I felt him a great deal. Is this normal?

You should probably call your doctor....it could be nothing or it could be something....you should feel your baby at least a few times a day...I don't know though I am not a doctor...so just call and they may tell you to not worry .....doesn't hurt to call though that is what you pay them for....

At this stage in pregnancy it is very normal to feel baby a lot and then to go a couple of days and not feel a whole lot. Before 28 weeks the baby has a lot of room and has patterns of being really active one day and not the next.

I am 25 weeks and had this same problem last week. I actually got so upset because I had not felt my baby move in 2-3 days so I went to the emergency room. They sent me to the labor and delivery area to be put on the heart monitor. According to the nurse I have a healty baby girl with a healthy heart. The nurse told me that she seemed to be positioned toward my back and that was probably the reason I had not felt her as much. Before I went to the er, I called the doctors office. They told me to try to drink a caffeinated drink and lay on your left side for around 30 min, with no distractions and if i had not felt her move to come on to the er. I did that, and could not feel her, so I went to the er. They found the heartbeat and i was relieved. If you are worried about it, call your doctor

Mountain Dew works. I drank this soda and the baby move so much I could not go to sleep. It did not take 30 minutes. It move right after I laid on my side.
