Okay, I'm 17 weeks and last night right after I went to bed, I noticed that my nipples were kinda wet or something. I got up, went to the bathroom, and sure enough there was some kind of liquid there. Then this morning, the right one had some kind of film or dried up something on it. Can I be getting my milk already???

No it wasnt milke, it was colostrum. Its the beginning of milk.

Kristin is right, it's colostrum and it's completely normal for you to start leaking it at this stage in your pregnancy. You will keep producing colostrum until about 2-3 days after you deliver, then your milk will come in. You will probably notice it leaking from time to time until you deliver. Just another joy of being pregnant. Good luck to you!

I'm 20 weeks, howcome I haven't got colostrum yet? What's the average time preg woman starts to get it?

Every woman starts producing colostrum in her b___sts during 2nd trimester, but not everyone will have it leak out. If it leaks, that's normal, if you don't even realise it's there that's normal too. Everyone is different.

I'm 32 weeks and I just started noticing something on my nipples. I wiped away what I thouht was some dead skin and the following day it was back again. I've not known what it was until when I wiped away this dried up stuff and I leaked a tiny bit out. I thought colostrum wasn't supposed to happen until after the baby was born.
