Naval Piercing In 2nd Tri

Does anyone else have a naval piercing? I have left mine in, really want to keep it, but afraid of stretching. I figured if I took it out the hole would stretch anyways, so I am playing it by ear. Any advice or stories would be great.

once you start to get bigger and your belly really starts to protrude, it will probably get uncomfortable to leave your ring, because your skin is stretching, if you leave the ring in, it may cause your skin to tear.......I took mine out, the hole closed up and I just ended up getting it repierced after delivery.

I took mine out before it falls out:) The hole is stretching a little and I am afraid that I am going to end up with the huge gaping hole by the end of my pregnancy.

My holes are not going to close, I can already tell. They are just going to stretch bigger. If you really want to keep it, I'd say keep it until it does get uncomfortable. But there are these things you can put in that are flexible and will keep the hole open. Do a search on ebay for "Pregnancy Belly Ring" and they will come up, they are only a few bucks, worth a shot.

I still have mine in and im 19 weeks. The problem is my belly b___ton is starting to push out so i think i might be able to wear it for another month or so and then i might have to take it out. I really dont want to. I might try putting a smaller guage in it so it can stretch a little more. I have had mine pierced for 5 yrs now , but im still scared that it is going to close.

I had mine in for like 4 years before I took it out and it closed up on didn't look like it was closed, but it closed in the middle, so I could push the bar through the top 1/2 and through the bottom 1/2 but not all the way through.

I took mine out because my belly b___ton is already stretching out. I think that the hole is almost closed too. One of my friends tried to leave hers in and it gradually was just pushed out, like if your ripped it out from the front. I think that I will just get my redone afterward. Or maybe I'll just go without one b/c I'm sure that it will be a while before I am in a bikini :)

I took mine out at 5 months. My girlfriend did the same and said she was still able to put it back in after birth...

There is no way I could keep mine in. I am almost 26 weeks and my belly b___ton is on its way to becoming an outie. I took mine out months ago because I started getting big very early on. My piercing hole has been spread to its max for a while!
