Hey...I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and had protien in my urine. What does this mean? I never experienced that during my first pregnancy. So I am clueless. Help on this one ladies!

Try to eat more protein throughout the meal, meat, chicken, beans, etc. It could be a sign of preeclampsia -eating more protein is supposed to help.

throughout my first pregnancy i had protien in my urine and still do. Normally the doc will keep an eye on you protien level. I still have it and the doc thinks i may have a type of kidney disease. doc's or concerned about this if you want to get pregnant agian or even if this is your first time. i want to have another baby, but i have this problem and during my pregnancy last time i had preeclampsia and high blood pressure. protien in urine is a sign of preeclampsia and you really need to whatch your salt. my doc told me that protien in urine is not actually kidney failure, but could lead to it, so it normally means they want to do a byopsy if you have high levels of protien. they dont do this if your pregnant, they wait till after you have baby. some people only get it while pregnant. i had like plus 6, but it has went down. trust me i have been through this and i am still going through it. just keep an eye on it.
