I am 16 weeks and am having very dull cramping, it is like I am getting my period it comes and goes during the day. Is this something to be worried about or just normal? First pregnancy and have no idea what is going on. Thanks for the help

I had something similar to cramping it was more a pinchy feeling. I don't think its anything to worry about unless its an unbearable Cramping!!! I would call your doctor just to give you a piece of mind!!

Round ligament pain ususally starts around that time and it could be your ligaments beginning to stretch. Usually that pain only lasts a few minutes though and will go away if you move around a bit. It usually comes on by getting up too fast or moving too quickly. If you are still not sure I would call your dr for a peace of mind like mrsneves suggested. Good luck!

Please do not worry about the cramping. It is extremely common and most likely to be your uterus stretching. I had a u/s at six and a half weeks to make sure everything was o.k due to the fact i was experiencing abdominal pains and cramps. There was a heartbeat so that helped me to calm down. I still get cramps now and i am nearly 3 months gone. I know it is hard not to worry but my midwife told me tthat some women have cramps throughout their whole pregnancy. Hope this helps.
