wow that great!! arent ultrasounds amazing, makes everything hit home pretty fast!! Yeah the dr doesnt know yet but i am measuring quite ahead.. and ive been having major movement now, to be honest not to sure what to think, so im not going to think till i get my 20wk ultrasound (on a good machine) to say one way or another. I have an antenatal appt next monday so the dr is going to go over a few things for me :), when do you get another scan?? are you going to find out the s_x?? i am for sure

I am excited to know how many you are having. Twins would be so exciting! Challenging but exciting. I do not have my next scan booked yet. It will probably be in August sometime I imagine. I'll be 20 weeks then. I am still on the fence as to whether or not I want to know the s_x. DH found out for his son (he's my son too just not biologically) and I would really like to be surprised this time. I keep telling him "you knew for Logan.... let's be surprised this time!" He still really wants to know. We'll see :) As long as s/he is healthy right!

ooh i dont know if i could handle twins, my 18month old son is testing my patience as it is!!! but hes always so cheerful about it, how can you disipline someone if they just laugh at you!! argh. Im have to know the s_x, i just dont like waiting for stuff if i know i can find immediately.. plus im a planner, as soon as i find out the s_x im going to start shopping in the appriopriate colours and setting up his/her room. how olds your son?

Logan will be 3 in October. He's a good boy. he somewhat understands that there is a baby is Mommy's tummy. However, he thinks there is one in his belly too. He points to my belly and says "Mommy' s baby right there". and then taps on his own and says, "Logan's baby right there." It's so funny. Kids are so precious. I showed him the ultrasound pictures this morning. He was not really interested but what can you expect from a 2 year old :)

i hope everyone has felt better since this thread started. I had a sciatica attack so bad when I was 18 weeks Ihad to leave work, I couldn't sit in or get up from my chair without yelping like when you slam the dogs tail in the door by accident... ts all been on my left side too. It was literally just a pain in my a__s. now hthat tha went away, I am waking up with charley horses so bad in my left calf that im still sore 2 days later. I must be carrying my weight on my left leg somehow????

A chiropractor is realistically the only thing that's going to fix it with any kind of success. In the meantime (and as a preventative measure after you do get it fixed) try the Pelvic Tilt exercise. This page explains how to do it: http://www.dcdoctor.com/pages/rightpages_wellnesscenter/homeexercises/back/exercises/exer_back_ex_pelvictilt.html Basically, you lay on your back on a hard surface with your knees bent, squeeze your muscles and tilt your hips so that your lower back presses down toward the floor. Hold it, release and repeat. It feels really good and takes the pressure off that nerve. I also get relief by alternating ice with heat.

Don't know what happened, but at the very end of that link I just gave, the html shouldn't have hyphens in it.

Well mine is non existant now, the baby was sitting on the nerve so there was nothing that i could do about it, but it finally shifted off it a few weeks ago... thank goodness, my dr did give me exercises but they seem to only agitate it more than anything, i found that taking it easy and not standing for long periods seem to really help. I hope everyone elses will be getting better soon!!!
