Karen - I'll chime in on the soda thing... First of all - it's just empty calories. Secondly, almost everything has caffeine, which isn't so good. If you go with diet, you really have to watch for aspartame (not so good for you either). So too much sugar, caffeine, etc isn't so good for you. Try bubbly water and add fruit juice - or my fav - gingerale (not diet) in moderation.
