Ladies, For the past few days, I have had a wicked cough. It is so intense that I really feel it's causing me to put alot of tightness and pressure on my uterus. Anyone know if this could be dangerous?

I had a really bad flu at the beginning of my 2nd trimester. Doctor said it wont hurt the baby. I know have another cold and coughing a lot. Again the doctor said it would not hurt the baby.

I just got over a cough - I would cough until my stomach was upset and then throw up. Really did a number on my stomach muscles. It felt like I needed to hold my belly onto my spine with my arms!!! Throwing up probably made it worse, too. My baby is just fine. It took me a while to get over - I hope your cough doesn't linger like mine! :)

I swear, I'm not making anything up! I had a cough and it turned out to be a symptom of something WAY more serious. My first baby was born and lived only two days. I wasn't saying that the cough itself was dangerous

Then you should of said that and say what was the the cause called of your cough you must know that .

To everyone!!! - November 5

Do you all have no compa__sion? This woman lost a baby after carrying her or him to term and two days. Leave her alone and be nice on here!

It's all good ladies. I ended up in the hospital. I ended up breaking a blood vessel in my cervix. I don't know if it had anything to do with my cough. I just know I'm coughing so hard I'm vomiting and bleeding.

Barb - November 6

Sorry to hear that hope you feel better soon all the best to you

I don't really want to talk about this right now, ok? I have enough on my mind because I'm pregnant again and all I can think about is whether or not my baby will also die like my little Susan. I can still remember the softness of her skin...

kate - November 7

Emily, Stop posting here if you don't want to talk about it. I don't believe you anyways...

I'm an RN, and I can tell you that a cough in and of itself will not cause you to miscarry, however you need to go to the doctor to make sure your cough isn't due to infection. Infections can most certainly harm the fetus.

I agree - November 7

With kate shes lying or she woundnt of posted to begin with
