morning... beat you all here! I really didn't know what to call our thread after yesterdays bombsh__l....

D - May 11

As for the third trimester... I think the other girls who hang out here (beth, ekay, etc) are a few weeks ahead of us and will break them all in to our types!

Misty - May 11

Hehe, they seemed like they needed breaking in. How are you this morning D? I know I am having a better start, my son is not having a fit. Man, that mood of his lasted most of the day yesterday, rough day.

D - May 11

I'm ok... didn't get as much sleep as I wanted, but a whole lot better than the last few days... much better. plus, I don't have all the problems penny is dealing with... poor girl... I'm so sorry to hear it... I hope things will get better soon - hopefully he'll straighten out his priorities... anyways, I have no right to complain when people are having such painful problems! Soooo... this morning is fine. Had to drop Poppy off at the vet (dog) to get de-puppyized. Its a good thing too... its a little embarra__sing to find out that your dogs got "stuck" all day in front of your house... I can just imagine all the neighbors driving by laughing... they do anyways! The boy dog wasn't so thrilled either... his poor little appendage was pretty stretched and bleeding after so many hours...

D - May 11

Actually, I say it was embarra__sing - and it was - but it was also absolutely hilarious. We got home late that night, about 9:30 or 10p, and we were standing there laughing our heads off trying to figure out who you call and what you say in this situation! Fortunately, we were able to separate them....

Its not so bad keeping up with them all... the dogs are outside only - so its just food and water (and getting them unstuck and taken to the vet - but those are actually pretty rare occurances!) The cats are litter and food - which my husband is taking care of now! :-) Hedgehogs are very low maintenance. Food, water, and mine uses a litter box - so all I have to do besides change that is sc___pe her wheel. And as for the bird - well, you know about birds. But with one bird, its not too bad. I make my husband take care of him too! I always figured I wanted an aviary too... I even drew up plans for building it... but I don't think it will happen any time soon for me either... too much work! Even though the pets are not so bad, I would much rather scale back than add at this point. Plus, I really want a German shepherd - and since we only want 1 dog and have 3 - thanks to the generosity of whomever dumped them - I'll be waiting on that awhile too! Really, the beaver up in the pond are a whole lot more trouble...

Hello girls! sorry i have'nt been on that much recently but my scare really knocked me but doctor reasures everything is ok for now as the baby doesn't look distressed and the heartbeat is normal. I'm feeling a lot better now. As for this being the "best" time of pregnancy! Who came up with that! lol Yes my sickness has gone (although had a hint of it today when i didn't eat) but i'm still very tired and sleepin so much it's startin to annoy me, my hormones get terrible from time to time and i've literally gone off eating food lol (am 16w 1d). Arggh maybe next month will be my "good month". Well i hope so because i'm going on my last holiday for i'd say many years. (being a single mum and only being 19 when the baby is born there will be no time or money for holidays).

I'm glad things are ok with the baby, <Amy> - I was a bit worried for you! I'm with you on the second trimester thing! It hasn't been any picnic for me either! My morning sickness hasn't gone completely away. I don't like eating either! and the insomnia.... I'm trying not to think about how long it wil be before I get to sleep enough again.... :-s

<Amy> - May 11

Aww, i have too much sleep and you have too little! wish we could swap a bit of eachothers lol. It's not that i feel sick of the thought of food makes me sick, its i genuinely don't enjoy eating it feels like something silly like doing the washing, i don't want to but i have to, for mine and the babies sake. I'm trying to psych myself up with food like onion rings and sweet chilli sauce (Mmm) and one thing i will eat and enjoy is any kind of curry (spicy food). But as for the moment my diet consists of crisps and diet coke, my 2 fav things! lol which are also not very healthy, typically.

<Amy> - May 11

lol im so glad someones here btw! it's 3:50pm i usually sit here all day waiting for someone to come on so i can chat!

Misty - May 11

Well Amy I think you are going to start a riot. Talking about how you have so much sleep you are tired of it? In a thread of insomniac laides? You're lookin for it girl. :-) Glad you are feeling mostly better, at least you are hopefully not terrified anymore, just annoyed. As for me. I can't wait to get to the third trimester but only because that means I will be that much closer to having my baby. I am already starting to somewhat feel my insides being pushed up and squished it seems like, and I am not wanting that to get worse. But oh well. I remember with my son he used to love getting comfortable with his feet in my ribs. Little punk. I used to push my fist into my ribs hoping to get him to move, but he was a hard-headed little thing even before he was born. :-) That's my little imp for you.

<Amy> - May 11

Well i've had nothing dramatic, one flutter and the baby likes to bounce on and kick my bladder (can't actually feel baby but my bladder can feel it) lol, and it doesn't really help when i also have a UTI. Sorry to all you insomniacs ;) but i sleep early and sleep most of the day away like yesterday i slept til nearly 4pm. When i wake up i feel as bad as before i went to sleep cos i've slept too much and i miss out on things and don't go out becuase of it, so it isn't all good.

<Amy> - May 11

Going to ayia napa, cyprus, i usually go there every year with my mum so we've decided to go one more time. It will be my last in a while and my first sober time lol. But that won't stop me from dancing in the bars and clubs cos it'll be a while beofre i do any of that again and i am young!

rb - May 11

amy that's wicked! you're gonna have so much fun! - i'd love to think i'd be dancing these days too, but i've been feeling so...yuck... and i can barely wear most of my clothing, cuz things just don't feel "right" - i guess being pregnant at this stage is not making me feel as carefree and cute as i once felt.. anyhow, i wish i could sleep, period. Just sleep.

Misty - May 11

That is so kick a__s Amy. You go out clubbing with your mom. Ha, that is awesome. How old are you anyway? I was still too young to drink when I had my son and then I had a lot of responsibility to go out clubbing, so I pretty much totally missed out on that part of my life. That's o.k. though, my son is more than worth it. Than and then, how do you know which one to use? I know there and their, but then and than? Who knows?

Misty - May 11

:-) and rb, I really wasn't sure, I thought I had remembered seeing Bennett in the e-mail Penny sent me and my brain isn't really functioning very well right now. So, I was just like....o.k......I can add whoever that is....I guess. :-)

<Amy> - May 11

Yeah i can't wait! I cant fit into trousers, but my skirts are stretchy and its way too hot there for trousers anyway! As for tops i have bought a load of those fashionable one's that flow out from under the b___bs, which doesn't really matter as i barely look pregnant anyway lol. When i had my emergency ultrasound she asked how far along i was and when i said 16 weeks she looked shocked and when "but your so small" lol i jus replied i'm one of the lucky ones. Although when i'm tired and stuff i never get given seats on buses and trains as people don't believe me when i say i'm pregnant lol. I might put some pics on a website so you can all see, along with my scan pictures. I was a size 8 (UK size) before i was pregnant and now im a 10.
