6 Weeks And Worried

Worried New Mom - August 14

This past fall I found out that I have polycystic ovary syndrome (very early stages) and after 9 months of no luck getting pregnant, my doctor put me on chlomid five days out of the month. I did this in June and July. The end of July I had a postive home pregnancy test and was sooooo excited! However, now at about 6 weeks, I have only experienced occassional cramping, some sleepiness, increased hunger, and increased need to urinate (but I was a frequent visitor to the bathroom before this time). I have been quite emotional too, but I don't know if that's more due to the fact that I'm so worried about this pregnancy being viable and healthy because we want this baby so much. I keep reading (what seems to be in everything I read) that br___t soreness and swelling should be evident by now, but I don't have any. I have a doctor's appointment, but it's not until September 10. That seems like forever from now. I even took another home pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't imagining the two lines in the first test. Is it normal to be this paranoid??? Can anyone give me some info to help ease my mind?????

Please don't believe everything you read, it is a MISCONCEPTION that you have to get every pregnancy symptom known to man kind. Pregnancy symptoms are only POSSIBLES! It's a bit like side effects on medication, there's a list full of them, but you probably only get 1 or 2 (The medical profession legally have to supply any possible symptoms you can get in pregnancy, it doesn't mean you are going to get them). A % of women breeze through pregnancy with not so much as a twinge - lucky cows! It's been a tough journey for you to get where you are, and it is natural to be worrying. Do you have a midwife? Calling her, even if it's just for rea__surance will do you the world of good. Do you have any women friends (or friends of freinds) you know that are pregnant? Befriending another expectant mother may help you through your pregnancy, having someone who is going through the exact same thing as you. YOU ARE HAVING A BABY, enjoy it :o)
