Another Quot Can I Be Pregnant Quot But An Odd Situation

I will try to make this as brief as I can while still providing important details. I have been on the pill for about a year, but in April I ran out. I went to get a refill but they would not let me until I took a liver function test. Because I didn't have insurance, I didn't take the test. 4/26 I had a normal period, then, on day 14 of my cycle, I had a 2 day period (very short for me). During that period of time we did not have intercourse, so I wasn't worried. 6/8 and 6/12 I slipped up and had unprotected s_x (he withdrew, but I know that isn't very effective). I still have not had my period and it has been 51 days since my last normal period (the only exception was that 2 day period). I took a pregnancy test only 4 days after intercourse, not realizing that I am supposed to wait about 14 days (so of course it came up negative). I am not having any symptoms of pregnancy except I feel bloated and my nipples have been sore (not sure if that is a symptom or not). Basically, I am curious if it is even possible for me to be pregnant. I have not had a normal cycle since 4/26 so I don't even know when/if I'm ovulating. What do you think? Is it possible? This would definitely be an unplanned pregnancy, but I am having a hard time waiting for day 14 to come around, I want to know now :( Thanks!

Oh, and I have been having dreams for the last couple nights. I can't remember the last time I dreamt. That sounds like a stupid pregnancy symptom though, haha.

It's definitely possible for you to be pregnant, but it's also VERY possible that your body is just screwed up from the hormone changes. Some women don't get their first period for up to 3 months after quitting the pill. There's no real way of knowing when or if you ovulated, but a test on the 26th should give you accurate results. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Today I noticed a little bit of ovulation-like discharge (you know the clear jelly-ish stuff), but it was a very small amount. Otherwise, I have just had some thin clear discharge. I'm not sure if that means I'm ovulating now or what. Oh, how I miss the regularity of the pill :)
