Basic Condom Question

Okay... I promise I am not one of those girls with ridiculous questions just because. I feel like a high schooler with this question, but I'll be 27 next month. I only just started using condoms and my high school never taught on them. I asked about condoms on another board and a couple things that were said confused me. First someone said they'd gotten pg using a condom even when the condom didn't break... I didn't think that was possible. Second, someone said that you have to pull out and take the condom off immediately after ejaculation. Why is that? My husband didn't last night and the condom was a bit warped looking in the end... not like usual. Anyway, like I said, I apologize for these questions if they're idiotic. But I would appreciate any input you can give.

I never understand about getting pregnant if it didn't slip off or break. I can't help with that one. You are supposed to grab holdof the rim of the condom and remove it immediately after ejaculation because as the p___s goes flaccid the codom would become loose and leak or slip off. Hope that helps.

They have to state that they are not 100% because if people got pregnant while using them they would have alot of law suits on thier hands! I believe they are pretty much the safest precaution to use if you follow all the instruction but like everything it is not fool proof. Good luck.

Okay... thanks girls. So, last night there may be a chance that some might have slipped out? He stayed in after he ejaculated for about a minute.

Condoms work exceptionally well, long as you don't break them, or let them slide off inside...or go limp allowing s____n to flow down the p___s and out of the ring of the condom. I've done this many times, no problem, although I now remove most of the time before ejaculating.

Erin, You're probably okay if he didn't completley uh... go flat before he took it out. When I first had s_x with my (now) husband he pulled out his p___s, but left the condom behind. Not good, but incredibly funny because he was looking all aroung wondering where it could have gone and then yelled "I found it!" Good luck!
