I would say it was positive given the time limit. Test again in a few days it should be darker. Good luck!

Yes, evap lines can show within 5 minutes. Does the line have obvious color, or is it hard to tell?

Sian! They say you can interpret the test with in 10 minutes and to discard after the 10. I'd say not an evaporation line if it was with in 5 minutes. What brand did you use?

Any line I've gotten, even the very faintest, within 5 minutes was always a positive. I don't know much about evap lines though. You should test again. If you're like so many of us and can't wait, test again tomorrow and see what you get. Also, this last time I had a "positive" on a digital test when the regular test was really, really faint. Evap lines can show up just as fast as a real positive line can. The difference is in the color. If there is an obvious pink color to the line (or blue, depending on the dye color of the test), then it's positive. If it's so faint that you can't tell a color or it looks grey, it's likely an evap. Good luck! I hope it's the former!
