okay, my husband and I have been trying to concieve for 5 months. Apparently, I'm turning back to my 14 year old days when I had messed up periods and had to be put on the pill to regulate them. I haven't had to do that since I was about 19. I am now 25. Since I have been trying to concieve, I have had a 29 day cycle, a 30 day cycle, and my recent one, a 35 day cycle. I have tried temping and I either forget, or my temp goes up and down all the time that it gets confusing. After reading many of the posts on this site, am I right in saying that you really can't have more than a 14 day luteal phase? So my game plan this cycle (Im on CD 4 right now), is to count back 14 days from 28....which will be 14, and then count back 14 days from 35....which will be 21. So btw the 14th and, say, the 25st day, I will probably ovulate so I need to bd like crazy? Am I doing this right, or am I all wrong? We were just married in October, so I would hate for this to feel like a job for us both. I know how to check cervical mucus and everything, but apparently I am doing something wrong :-) Could use your advice! Thanks!

Hi SMR, I have also thought about doing that but you really have no idea how long your next af will be. I have a 27-30 day cycle with luteal phases lasting to 14-18 days. I would like to know that answer to, sorry I can't you.
