I have been having pain in my lower abdomen 3 to 5 times a day for about 2 months. The pain is unlike normal menstrual pain, also quite severe. I've been having menstrual cramps in my lower abdomen and back but I have not gotten my period yet. I'm about a week late. I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive, but I just don't think I'm pregnant. I'm fearing ovarian cysts or a fybroid tumor.

after 4 days of missing my period i took a pregnancy test which quickly revealed a positive. during that same time i was experiencing sharp cramps on my left side. my doctor looked and saw a cyst in my left ovary almost filling it. as time went on the cramping went away but i still don't know if the cyst is gone or will appear again. i've been having multiple pregnancy symptoms including that annoying cramping for the past 3 weeks. i go to the doc tomorrow morning for a blood test. don't know how to feel though.

It sounds like eptopic pregnancy. Pleea__se have it checked out, because if it is, then it must be taken care of a.s.a.p before it does any damage to your tubes.

Krystle-I went through the same thing you are going through.I had the same symptoms you have.I thought for sure I was pregnant. The day I was suppose to start my period I had HORRIBLE pain on my left side really low in my abdomin.I had to go to the ER and they thought at first I was having an ectopic pregnancy but then they found I really wasnt pregant that I had 2 very large cysts on each of my ovaries. They found that out by doing blood tests to make sure I wasn't pregnant first then they did a u/s and a ct scan and found them. I am doing better know(about 2 weeks later but occasionaly still have pain).Have your dr do a blood test first to make sure you're not pg then do a ultrasound and ct scan.Best of wishes.
