Do You Use A Fertility Monitor

If so, which one are you using? Are you happy with it? Pros & Cons? Price of monitor? Any other info would be much appreciated! I'm thinking of investing in a monitor...I'm not a fan of the opks (poas everyday stinks!)

I used a digital monitor to achieve this pregnancy. It took two cycles and I couldn't be happier. This is our second child and I am currently 19 weeks 5 days pregnant. For me there were no cons to using the monitor. I got a Clear Blue Digital and had to buy the test strips, to me it was well worth the money. When you are done with the monitor you can always sell it on line. The monitor takes out all the guesswork.

I also used clear blue easy digital monitor. It is a tad bit expensive but totally worth the price. I used it for 2 cycles and am now 14 weeks pregnant. My sister used the monitor for her last two pregnancies and each time only used it for one cycle for each baby. She tried for 3 years to get preggo before she bought the monitor. The best thing about the monitor is that you only have to pee on the stick about 20 days in the first cycle and then the second cycle you pee 10 days then the monitor learns your cycle. So if you have to use is for more then a few months (hopefully you won't) you have to do if a few days every month. You can look for them on ebay. They are new and some of the deals come with the sticks. Otherwise you have to buy the sticks separately. You can get really great deals though. Good luck to you and baby dust.

Mjvdec01, did you find out the s_x of your baby yet. I've seen you mention in a few posts that you were going to but I haven't seen the s_x yet? BTW, Lovingmother I used the clear blue digital ovualtion tests and I got pregnant my first month, trying that method at least. I was using the OV watch since Sept. wihout any luck! It looks like clearblue is getting excellent reviews so far!

JND, we are having a boy, and we are very excited. This is my last pregnancy. We have our daughter who is now two and in july we will get our boy...I am done. How are you?

Mjvdec01, CONGRATS....that's awesome. Yeah inside i'm hoping for a girl because i'd like to be done also but if I have a boy i'd be just as blessed too. I look at it this way, if I have 3 boys then i'm truely not meant to have a girl. I can't have a whole football team, you know? 3 is my max. Have you felt different with this pregnancy vs. with your girl?

A bit. I have just felt everything sooner and more intense than with my first. Morning sickness was worse, I seem to be more tired than with my daughter (probably because I'm chasing a toddler all day), I am way more uncomfortable at 20 weeks than the first time also. Overall, I believe this to be the longest pregnancy on record. I can't believe I am only half way there.
