Amy - i understand why you're feeling blah, i always start to get down once i realise af is approaching. i know we always say it but keep positive until af actually shows. suebecca had af cramping and thought af had arrived for a day or so and then turned out to be pg so you just never know. jessica - i saw that article too. you had to hand it to her as she still looked great despite having had 16 children. i think i'll be satisfied with just two though but good luck to her!

Amy - i think a high cervix is good so there is still hope yet. i've tried doing the whole cervix thing, and just didn't have a clue what i was looking for so i stick to temping now! Lucy - hey, good to hear from you, how are you doing today? i miss the free health care in the uk but i have to admit from what i've seen so far you do get v. good value for your money here in the us so i guess it's a trade off. good luck with your drs appointment tomorrow.

Justine-I'm trying not to get excited about the cervix thing cause I don't remember what it did last time before my AF so who knows.. I'm gonna try and relax, haa haa

Jessica - October 13

Amyn - I tried checking my CP (cervix position) I could hardly reach it but couldnt tell if it was open/closed hard/soft. I took off this month, never did temping before, does that actually work? Justine - I agree she looks very good for having 16 children. I'd be happy with 2 more. Dh only wants 2 and I already have one so he said 1 more. We'll see what happens. Growing up I always wanted 5 now I'll be happy with whatever I can get and keep to term...

jessica- I don't temp, I just used an OPK this month and it was positve last Wed. the 5th so I ovulated I guess either the 4th - the 7th..

Justine - October 13

Amy - i know we always say we're going to relax and i do manage it briefly before my mind starts driving me insane with 'hey, did you just feel that twinge in your belly then?' or 'those bbs are definitely looking bigger today, you're obviously pg!' hmm, must make note to meditate more! Jessica - temping is a nuisance as you have to do it at the same time each morning before you get out of bed but it does show definite patterns in your cycle. after af until ovulation your temp is low, when you ovulate it dips again but then the day after ovulation (and this is how you know that you've ovulated) it shoots up and then stays up until evil af shows up or will continue to stay high indicating that you're probably pg. if you go onto fertilityfriend.com you can look at charts of women who've become pg, it's v. cool!

I still have heavy bbs, and the cramping. Can't tell if its af related or not. still too early for that. I don't know. I will try not to focus on it this weekend..Well lunch time. hope everyone is well

Heather - October 13

Hey all! My af (unwanted) is due 15th-17th, so i figured i would see if i could join you all. You seem like you really help each other.

Justine - October 13

Hi Heather. Welcome. This is a great thread and you will get lots of support here and have fun too. If you enjoy talking about food, music, crazy in-laws and of course ttc then this is the place for you. Looks like you're getting close to testing time, good luck and keep us informed. How long have you been ttc? Emily - i have sore bbs too but i'm trying to ignore them right now as they've lied to me before pretending they were pg bbs and not af bbs, so i'm obsessing over my zits this month instead...lol!

Jessica - October 13

Welcome Heather, we definitely try to help eachother out whether it's ttc or just everyday life situations that we all experience at one time or another. Emily - doesnt it stink that pg & af can have the same symptoms. I was just reading some posts on women who tested up to 2 months pg and still were getting bfn's with their hpts. I'm getting so excited as test time is coming for most of you all. I'm the late bloomer so I wont be testing til the end of next week when af hopefully doesnt show. Getting ready for a bunch of BFP's this month....~~~babydust~~~

Jessica - October 13

Justine you are too much...Made me laugh reading your post. I too have heavy bbs with those sharp gaslike pains, just a tab bit lighter, every once in a while....Zits are the focus this month huh??? LOL....I'm getting a cold, what a bummer. My throat is scratchy, must be this nasty rain we've had for the past week and a 1/2.

Heather - October 13

Thanks Jessica and Justine. This is my first month TTC. Im really excited and nervous cause this would be my first child! anyway! I guess i can fill you all in on my cycle and symptoms this month. Well i actually forgot to write down the day i started my period last month, BIG UH OH, but i think i started 17-18th, cause my period stopped on the 22-23rd and i usually have 6-7 day periods. anyway! We BD'd on the 28th-29th. We would have more but sense i wasnt sure when i started i was jus gonna make this like a practice month, lol, so anyway. If i would have started on the 17-18th i would have supposly O'd around the 1-2nd od Oct. right? Well sense the 6-7th i have been cramping bad, i noticed on the 8th i was bloated and then on the 10th my back started hurting. So i took a test on the 11th, BFN. I was thinking it was to early but i jus couldnt help my self i just had to test. I got what i didnt want. :-( Bummer! lol So im jus waiting on my (unwanted) and hopefully not going to show up af. Im going to test this Saturday. The 15th... do you think i should?!?! Im kinda wanting to test tomorrow the 14th... but im scared to see a BFN agian!

Justine - October 13

Jessica - i know we said we weren't going to obsess on symptoms this month but a cold seems also to be a sign of pg...yey! as for me i was symptomless up until a couple of days ago (apart from the onset of said zits) but since then i've had sore bbs and lots of cm (yuk). Ok i'm promise not to mention them again at least until the weekend! I'm a little bothered about the absence of Suebecca as she generally is a post fiend, I hope everything is ok. Well I'd better get out of here for awhile, have a great afternoon everyone.

Justine - October 13

Heather - i guess we were writing at the same time there. How long is your cycle normally? If you did ovulate on the 1st then you probably bd at a good time and may have tested a little early. Try and hold out a couple more days before testing again as it does get frustrating looking at that bfn. However, i never take my own advice and always test early so bfn have become part of my life...lol! Good luck for this cycle, that would be wonderful if you got a bfp on your first attempt. Ok i'm really going now...

Heather - October 13

Justine: Yeah we probably was writting at the same time. lol Im cycle;s are usually around 28-30 days im guessing. I havnt really payed much attention. But yeah it would be cool to get pregnant on my first try. lol! Good Luck To You All! Hope we all see BFP this month.... and soon! LOL

Emily - October 13

Welcome Heather. AF is due to show on Oct 16 for me. I am she's a no show. I tested today, and bfn. I figured it was too soon, but I couldn't stand the wait. I was going to wait unitl Saturday monring, but I had the test left over and had to use it. I am 25 (26 in Dec) This is 2 mo ttc for us after a m/c and D&C on Aug 16. My first af was Sept 18 and she s due again on the 16. I have a 14 month old daughter, Mary. It only took us 4 months with her and we didn't really try much of anything except to bd as often and whenever we wanted. We didn't really do the whole calulate o time or anything. With my m/c preg, we weren't trying to concieve at all. I was still nursing my then 11mo old and on the pill. Oops, but we were so excited when we found out....and then devistated...SO now I am bound and detirmined to get preg again soon. My ob said he excpeted to see us agian before the end of the year...I hope so. I was hoping to get preg this month so I would be far enough along to tell everyone at Christmas. We didn't wait with Mary or the m/c we told everyone rigth away. I am afraid to do it agin too soon, but I guess it wouldn't have mattered with the last one. We lost it at 10 weeks and we would have told everyone by then anyway. Oh well enough sad stuff, back to the fun stuff, ttw! I am going nuts. Everyone hear knows it so I thought I would share with you too...So where is we haven't heard form Terri yet today.....I hope everyone is well, Jessica still feeling better today....My dh just send me roses!!!!!!!!
