Going Insane

My hubby and I have been trying for 2 months but it's been 2 years since I'm off the pill. We wanted to have a baby naturally, but realized that it needs some extra attention. It's a torture every month, reading about the symptoms, observing your body, calculating ovulation... And people say that you shouldn't be focusing on it too much but how do I get it off my mind? I've been crying for 3 days just thinking that I might not be pregnant. It might be bec. of PMS, and the thought of PMS makes me cry alittle more. Anyway, how do u get it off your mind? I just wanna forget it from time to time. Help please!

I'm with you. My husband says I'm driving him crazy. Everyone tells me it happens when your not trying. I have yet to figure out the "not trying" mentality. :)

It's the same wt my husband, too. He says it's real early for us to be so obsessed about it, but I can't help it. I wonder how other women who've been trying for long time are dealing wt it.

How long have u been trying Crystle?

hi girls.... yes it is very hard to get ur mind off it!!!! i have beeen trying for 8 months now and every month i go through the same thing..... noticing symptoms (that normally turn out to be nothing), taking tests, feeling heartbroken when its negative. its all going on again at the moment...... i'm 2 days late for af, all the symptoms and negative test this morning!!!!

It doesn't get any better let me tell you. I have been trying for 2 years and it's an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. One minute you are on cloud nine with all your symptoms that just have to be pregnancy and then AF comes!!! I really don't know how much more of this I can take and have been saying that for the past year. So many of our friends and family ahve announced their pregnancies, had their babies and are now pregnant again, it just doesn't seem fair sometimes. But I guess all good things come to those who wait :0)

I sympathize with you ladies. This is our six month trying to conceive and I'm making myself crazy. The holiday season was basically ruined for me because AF came on Thanksgiving Day and then on Christmas. It's hard to think about anything else and even though we haven't been trying all that long, I'm starting to get concerned...
