How Accurate Is The Bbt Method Grandpa Viv

I was just wondering how accurate the bbt method is to determine when you ovulated and if you are pregnant. I would get positive OPK results, but my bbt would not show that I ovulated every month. From charting, it shows that I did not ovulate last month, but I did have a positive OPK result. I feel like I might be pregnant now, I have several symptoms. This month I am on day 29 with no positive OPK result. I thought I wouldn't be ovulating if I was pregnant, but my temp isn't indicating pregnancy either. Does BBT work for everyone? Here are some of my symptoms: A couple dizzy spells, fatigue, br___ts are fuller, my lower back feels tired and sore, wierd taste in my mouth, and for the past 5 days I have been spotting only when I wipe (Possible implantation bleeding?) Thanks!

This is the first I have heard that BBT might not work for some. Are you using a sufficiently accurate BBT thermometer and taking your temperature before you stir every morning? Charting shows you ovulating some months but not others? I'm lost. The signs sound encouraging. Wait a week, then take a test. Maybe we'll have something to write about to fertilityfriend.com

I have read that opk's can be pos b/c you are going to ovulate, but if temps don't go up to show you did, then something probably happened to stop the ovulation- sickness, stress, travel. Just b/c you get a pos opk- doesn't mean that you did def. ovulate- it just means that you had the surge. Check out fertilityfriend.com

I have been taking my temp at the same time everyday before I get up. I am using a basal thermometer, so I hope it's accurate, I've only had it for a few months. I am charting on fertilityfriend.com, and it shows I ovulated 3 cycles ago, but not the last 2. Last month I had a positive OPK result, but fertilityfriend says I did not ovulate. This month I have nothing. And my temps are so confusing. Today my lower abdomen is very tender. Is this a sign also? I don't know what to think.

Have you tried asking them on VIP? They are very good at answering the questions quickly. I sometimes ask a few. Sometimes they can look at things and adjust it so they can see an ovulation. What do youmean it shows you ovulated 3 days ago, but not the last 2? Do you mean your temp. raised, but then lowered again?

Stacy. I ovulated 3 cycles ago, but not the last 2 cycles. So I am ovulating some months and not others apparently. And no I have not tried asking them on vip, I'll have to do that. Thanks!
