should your temperature remain once you are pregnant? I used to be at like 98.3 or 98.4 but the last 2 mornings, my temp has been at 97.77 and 97.97!! Is something wrong or is that normal???

Hello. Well, mine is only 98.24 so I am not sure what it means. I read on the net that we shold not rely on BBT. It may or may not rise when pregnant. Where are you now in cycle? I am on cycle day 18. I ovulated 2 days ago what about you?

frozenfeet, I stopped taking my temp after getting my bfp on the advice of many people including my dr. There is no reason to and it will cause you LOADS of anxiety which is not good for you or the baby. Don't worry about it now :-) Good luck

ok, awesome....thanks stefkay! I'm not going to take it anymore....which means I don't have to wake up every morning at 6 am!! I haven't had my first appt yet, it's on the 26th of feb! I'll be 9 weeks then...hope it goes well. I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going though. I know you'll get the best care possible to find out what's up and how to help you through the full 9 months to get your angel! Good luck hun! Mummyofone...I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Just got my BFP a week ago. Good luck to you!

Just one more question...how soon after ovulation your BBT went a bit highre again? Do you think 2-3 DPO it is a "bad " sign that my BBT is only 98.24? thanks frozenfeet

Sarah that is still way above your coverline so I would not worry about it. Stef is right, you do not need the worry and anxiety that you will give yourself if you continue. Also enjoy sleeping in... you will need it soon enough. Sit back and enjoy your pregnancy and congrats again girl!

Oh! and take your prenatals! My dr. actually called in a prescription prenatals for me to the pharmacy before I even saw her and I think most would do that. OTC ones are fine, most dr.'s say, but the prescription ones contain more folic acid than OTCs do which can't hurt anything. Also, the prescription ones were even cheaper (the pharmacy gave me generic) than over the counter. And drink LOTS of water (listen to me, I sound like my mother!) lol...I read that anytime a woman mentioned having extra cramping or anything the dr.'s would usually recommend to lie down and drink lots of water. There is something to how it helps the body out in pregnancy because you are processing more in and out. GL!

thanks stefkay - I'm taking centrum materna and and an extra pill of folic acid every day...I need to get more water though....I try and try...but being in the bathroom all the time sucks!!

Hey about your initial question, my temp was low this morning when i got up to pee at like 3:30ish then higher at my normal wake up time. If you look at the pregnancy chart gallery on FF, people who did krrp temping have varying temps so I think it's nothing to worry about!!
