I don't think I'm pregnant, but lately I keep on having the feeling that I really should take a pregnancy test. I did go off the pill about a month ago (I am back on it now)... and I did get some sort of a period, but it wasn't much of one. It was very very light (at the beginning, it was more of a period, but that didn't last long) it was more brown than anything else. I have been extremely gassy over the past couple of weeks (I even woke up with really bad gas cramps last night... kind of embarassing, but I suppose its related) and I have been very hormonal. I won't let my boyfriend touch my br___ts, due to the fact they are very sensitive. I don't know whether I should follow this instinct to get a pregnancy test or just forget about it. What do you think?
(And yes I do understand that the light period could of been due to the pill, but I've been off and on it before, and I have always had a history of REALLY heavy periods.)

Any change in your hormone leves, such as going off the pill even for a brief time, can wreak havoc on your body and cause all sorts of pregnancy symptoms. Some women don't get a period at all for up to a few months after quitting the pill (and yes, that can happen even if you've quit before and your body went back to normal). It would probably be a good idea to take a test just to be sure, but more likely than not your symptoms are due to the hormone changes.
