if my af is very lite and doesnt last long will i still ovulate? Would it be worth getting some ovulation test and trying to track it by them???

In my experience, a lite af doesn't mean you won't ovulate. I've never tried those tests, because I've relied on all the 'cla__sic signs' and that seemed to work for me. But if you don't feel that's right for you, then try the tests..some people swear by them.

Do you chart your temp? That is a good way to track ovulation too. I was leary about buying ovulation test kits but did. They are pretty simple to use. The temp charting is really a good way to go as well though. www.fertilityfriend.com is a good webside (free too) to chart.

Hi Heather, I don't have regular periods so it is very difficult to work it out on a chart. Did you find the ovulation tests any good???

Hi Audrey! How often do you have a period? It can be very hard to conceive with irregular cycles. I know I am one of those lovely women who hardly ever has a period. I tried to conceive my second for 3 years and had no periods at all for 2 of those years. I am not big on herbal remedies but I took something called New Phase, it is for menopausal women, but I got on the web and found that some women take it to regulate their cycles. I took it for 3 months and finally had a period after 3 normal cycles I conceived my son. You may try looking up herbal remedies for fertility and see what you find, it really worked for me. I tried everything else and nothing happened.

Thanks Kim, But my periods used to be regular before i went on the injection. I came off it in Jan and have had 2 periods since then. Have you ever used the Ovulation tests?? and if so how did you find them??

kim - May 5

Yes, I have used them, I never detected ovulation b/c I never did ovulate. You can by them in any pharmacy or department store, they are with the pregnancy test. Or you can buy them online. Type in Ovulation predictor test and something will pop up.
