Is It Increased Progesterone That Causes The Symptoms

I am so sick today but still have not gotten a positive test. From what I have read, you start producing progesterone as soon as implantation happens. Is that what causes the symptoms? Enlighten me please. :0)

from what i have read, many of the symptoms, especially "morning" sickness are caused by the increase in hcg that occurs during the 1st trimester. at the end of 1st trimester, hcg levels fall off, hence symptoms subside, in general.

Renae is right. The rise in HCG is what makes you feel sick.

That is what I thought but then I started doubting it because I figured if hcg is what is making me sick I should be able to detect it by now. Whew how was that for a run on sentence? Maybe I am not pregnant, maybe something else is up. Thanks ladies :0)

I think that the inreased progesterone causes the fatigue and b___st tenderness. Right b/f af starts your progesterone is at it's highest, but when she comes it drops. If your pregnant your levels stay high and go higher. But it's the hcg that causes the nausea, and many other symptoms.
