ARRGH, sometimes it really stinks "sharing" (lol that's my own personal term) my boyfriend with the Army. He *finally* calls me today, after completely forgetting to call after my Dr's appt. only to let me get a 2 sentence statement out about the doctor and tell me that's he gotta go cause he's still got more work to do with the weapons. I realize that he can't help it, it's the military, not a normal job, but I really wanted to talk to him about stuff and I can't. :(

Man Kelsey- My heart really goes out to you..My ex-husband was a pro baseball player, and I had a hard time with him always being gone- but I have always had a lot of sympathy for the wives of soldiers... That must be so hard. How did your appt go?

Kelsey - January 24

It went ok I guess. My doctor didn't give me a blood test, she wanted me to wait 2 more week and test. So more waiting. But by that point it should be a definite yes or no, so I don't really mind waiting too much. I just really wanted to talk to him about it and he just couldn't. Had to go work on weapons inventory :( But I guess I've just got to get used to this, especially if we're planning on me getting pregnant this close to his next deployment.

That must be hard because you don't have as much ttc time as everyone else, with his being gone all of the time, right? I'm sure he thinks of you like crazy though and takes your pic with him everywhere he goes, my Dad fought in Veitnam, and told us when we were growing up that even though he could hardly ever talk to our mom, that she is what got him through the days back then... And that he lived everyday dreaming of coming home :-) Im sure your DH misses you like crazy and wished he could talk more.

It is hard, because if this time I don't get a positive, I'll begin the charting and temperature taking and everything. But I may, or may not be able to see him during my ferile days :( So it's going to be hard, but we've got until August before he'll go, so I'll just have to think positive. Oh and he's just DB for now, but have intentions of getting married after this next Iraq deployment.

excuse the typos lol, harder to type well when you're ticked off!! lol not to mention i'm getting a headache, yet again!

Kelsey- Is he home right now?? Temping and charting really does help, and it gives you peice of mind because you don't have to wonder if you caught the egg and ovulation, you KNOW. You will be blessed with a baby, and God bless your DB for fighting for us!!! That's sure something to be proud of, how brave. Are you late for AF?

Kelsey - January 24

He's home, but home for him is still an hour and 45 minutes away from me. I'm not sure about AF. I had a D&C exactly 4 weeks ago. And I haven't had a natural AF since then, I had one induced by Medroxyprogesterone. I asked the doctor today if she even thought it was possible considering those factors, and she told me if I was that it wasn't far along enough for a test, so to wait for 2 weeks. But if an AF comes in the end of this I will begin charting, although I'm not really sure of how to go about starting that, maybe you can give me some tips.

Absolutey.... First you will need to buy a Basal Body Themometer, (you can get them virtually everywhere) then go to w w w dot fertilityfriend.com - Once you're there sign up, it's FREE, You do not need the VIP membership, it's not much different then the free membership anyway. You can sign up for the tutorial- thats where fertility friend will send you info daily on how to go about charting, but It only confused me, I learned it better by talking to the gals here. So here are the steps: First buy yout BBT(Themometer) then register at FF.COM; then take your tempertaure everyday at the same time after at least three hours sleep, then you go to your chart on Fertility friend, and enter the temp under "enter data" FF does the work for you, as long as it has your temps. The temps before you Ovulate are usually in the 96-97 range, then you will have three higher temps, that marks your ovulation (you dont have to do anything but enter the temps, so don't let me confuse you:-) When you have Ovualted you will get cross hairs (loos like a cross)on your chart here's my chart go to w w w . fertilityfriend.com/home/laynibaby05 Thats pretty much all you do! At first I felt over-whelmed with it, but you get the hang of it in no-time and we are always here to answer your questions.

Kelsey - January 24

I looked at your charts!! wow, that looks really confusing!!! but i'm sure i'll get the hang of it once i start it!! thank you so much for telling me how to get started!! By the way, you are so pretty!!! I'm sure you'll have a gorgeous little baby!!

layni - January 24

Kelsey- Don't let it intimidate you, it does look really complicated but I promise you it's not- All I do is enter my temp everyday and the FF software does the rest!! You can do it! Thanks so much for that sweet compliment :-)(

layni - January 24

PS- I remember the first time I looked at charts- I felt like I was in the twiight zone, all the colors..and everything made me NOT want to do it. But It really is soooo easy!!!

Kelsey - January 24

Ok Layni, I'm taking your word on this lol. It'd be nice if I get a BFP in 2 weeks instead of even having to do that!!!

layni - January 24

Throwin lots of sticky baby dust your way honey!!!! *****~~~~****~~~~ Catch it and good luck!!!!

indenial - January 24

Kelsey, I hope you get your BFP this month, but if not, don't lose hope. It took three mths for my AF to get back on track after having fibroids removed and my uterine lining thinned.

Kelsey - January 24

Thanks indenial! I havent really come across anyone with a similar problem as mine yet!! So it's nice to hear that, even if it might mean that it will take us longer to get PG. I really hope I am, mainly for a baby lol, but also because I don't know what the heck else would make me feel this way!!! Naseau, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, excess v____al discharge, sharp pains in my sides, the list seems to be growing longer!!
