I have researched this question for my own personal issues and apparently it is normal for all women to have a slight discharge from their nipples, even without being pregnant. If you are indeed pregnant you can expect the colostrum in the third trimester, according to the experts.

I had nipple discharge starting at 5 months pregnant w/my first one...with the others I wouldn't really know because I was nursing (at naps and bedtime at least) all the way up to the day before birth...so some nipple discharge (or milk) was to be expected then anyway.

what does this colostrum look like? Do you have to squeeze your nipples for it to come out
