Hi, Just wanted to know the odds of becoming pg so here goes. I O'd yesterday (confirmed by temp shift) I got a positive OPK yesterday and Saturday. We bd yesterday and Saturday. What are my chances or conceiving, this is our first month TTC. Also I am now 1 dpo so does anybody want to come and wait with me? :o)

Kelly, that is me a week ago. (first time ttc) I didn't get too scientific about it, just went by first day of cycle and cm, but wanted to know immediatly if it worked. It sounds like you did everything right, so now you will have to play the waiting game with the rest of us. Good luck, babydust!

This weekend it is my turn to wish AF away and hopefully get to test. Can't believe I can get that excited about peeing on a stick, oi! And next week you get your turn and so it goes. Hopefully BFP for us this first month.

Thanks for replying Macy, I only got scientific as my af's have been a bit irregular after coming off the pill so wanted to make sure I got the right days. GL for this weekend I really hope AF doesn't come. Have you had any symptoms etc? I don't think at 1dpo I will have any symptoms but I can't help but look out for signs it's enough to drive you crazy!!! fingers crossed for us both :o)

My bbs are a bit achy and this weekend I couldn't stop eating, not like me at all. And at the moment I'm slightly nauseous. Come to think of it, that has only started recently, like about two hours now, so maybe it's nothing. Around 5dpo I had sharp little pains that could have been in my uterus, but then it went away completely and no spotting at all. So all in all there isn't that many symptoms to go by. Will see if AF turns up this weekend, if not I'll test and if it does turn up I'm going OPK shopping at the double! lol! And by the way, there is absolutely nothing wrong with "scientific", it just means that you most probably increase your chance for conceiving by really knowing the best time to ttc. AND like I said, if this month doesn't work, call me Mrs Scientific!

After I read my message back it looked a stroppy it wasn't meant to sound that way. To be honest the reason I put that is because I really didn't want to use opk's and all that and we started all okay and I got so worn out keep bd'ing and wondering I lost my cool and bought some, so I let myself down a little bit as I really wanted to go with the flow. Your signs sound great however I wouldn't stress if you don't have any signs as I have just read impatients post and she has just got a bfp with no signs. Well here is to our first 2 week wait I think it is going to be the longest 2 weeks ever!!!

Don't worry, didn't take it as stroppy, lol! Yes, I'm so excited about Impatient's news - both for her and because it means that it is possible to happen in the first month. So here's to waiting and hoping!

oh really was that her first month, I must go back and read some of her posts, I can't believe that, whats your story if you don't mind me asking. I have been married 2 years together for 6 and am 27 years old.

Macy - November 26

Hi Kelly. I've been married a year and 8 months, we have been together for three years (total). I am 26 years old - 4 months away from 27. I've been off the pill 5 cycles now, but only ttc this cycle. On Sugar's Oh My God Maybe I've done it appears my full sad story, but better not spout all of that again, ha-ha.
