One Day Of Light Blood Pregnant

I am only 11 weeks post-partum and was nursing; I had a single day of light bleeding (not heavy, but definate flow).
My milk dried up a couple days before; I had two babies, only 18 mo apart, thought maybe too much for a 35-yr-old body. I am worried that I may be pregnant again, as this is exactly what happened with my now 20-month-old. I also had a day with every hour full bladder, BUT I took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. I wondered if it was too early to detect, but I also have my doubts that I could actually get pregnant this soon.
Is there another possibility for the bleeding?
I looked up the % chance of it and I guess there is still a 2-5% chance of getting pregnant this early. I am fine if that is what it is, but WOW! if it is I am in for it... (lol)
I have a scheduled appointment in a week for IUD and wonder if I would know before then if I were pregnant, and/or if my doctor would be able to tell if I were when placing the IUD. (?)
Sincerely,
Mom who is a tad bit stressed...
