IF WE HAD SEX 5/2, HOW FAR ALONG COULD I BE ?

First off, you don't count you length of pregnancy by when you had s_x. It goes from the first day of your last period (not the first missed, either). Conception doesn't happen at the moment you have s_x... it takes the sperm a while to find the egg. Plus, if you did not ovulate on that day, but after then it would take that much longer. Just for kicks, say you concieved on or around May 2nd and your cycle length is the perfect 28 days, then your LMP (last period) would have been around April 18th meaning you would be in your 8th week of pregnancy this week. Does that help?

To be technically correct, Nell, it doesn't go by the first day of your last period but by two weeks before ovulation. For the average person, that just happens to coincide with the first day of their last period. For anyone with a longer than average cycle, going by the first day of their last period would be innacurate.

Well for both of you, they do go by the first day of your last af but at a early sono they will give you a diff. date based on the babys size.

Is a 29-31 cd be considered normal or would be considered a long one?Im just curios.

I was meaning that the doctor's office counts from your last menstrual cycle to give you an estimated due date.

Rhonda, I would consider it normal. I think I read somewhere last night, can't find it now, that if it's past 34 days, it's long.
