Out Of Fertile Window

just a quick question... how many of you ladies got pregnant while not in the "fertile window"???

Lin - May 11

It's impossible to get pregnant outside your fertile window. Of course, that's a__suming that you actually know when your fertile window is, but if you're not temping or using opks or anything, then you don't know. If you're referring to s_x on the fifth day after your period started, as you said on another thread, it's highly unlikely.

yeah, thats what i thought....dh and i originally planned on ttc in june but we decided to throw caution out the window in hopes of taking the pressure off. just wondering what the odds were. is it just me or is it a really scary feeling ttc your first when your 24 and still in university??? has a yone been pg or ttc and going to university???

Hi, laura, I am a__suming you mean college (I'm from the States). I wasn't attending school when I was ttc or pg but I was in school when I was raising her,I had 2 jobs and paying a lot of bills. It is a lil hard, but if you have poeple that support you, you'll be fine. Even if you don't, you have to make a path for yourself and stick to it. I did it. Good luck!

No, she actually meant university. College is college in Canada and University is University.

LadyD - College is not a good term to use to refer to university on an international forum. In some places, the term 'college' is used to refer to the last two years of high school. 'University' is much more universal. Not being critical here, just letting you know for internet purposes.

Actually college is after HS here and is the same like the states but university is after college.

Lin - May 12

Emma, is it like I just said in Canada? When I said "some places" I was actually referring to some parts of Australia...

Emma2 - May 12

I know but i was clarifying ....Because I didnt make it too clear.

Lin - May 12

Oops, you posted too quick for me! I see. We use 'college' to refer to anything after high school, including university, though I could imagine some in the US might also use it to specifically refer to community college.

Lin - May 12

Stop posting while I'm writing! :-D

Emma2 - May 12

I was just about to say the same to you!!! too quick!

LadyD - May 12

o-k.
