Ovulation Bleeding

I'm on CD 15, and noticed a little blood when I wiped. It's quite common around this time of my cycle, but I was wondering if the blood appears AFTER I've actually ovulated, or does it mean "start BD'ing A.S.A.P." ?

hmmm...I didn't think there was any way to really tell...? Thats never happened to me, but I'd really like to know the answer too, for curiosity's sake....Yay, a mom close to my age! Welcome!

I've definitely seen people report it before ovulation, and I've had it happen after ovulation, so I don't think there's any set rule. There can be different causes that happen at different times. Cramping can cause it, but so can the bursting follicle...

I had the same question on here a few days ago. On cd16 (Sat.) I noticed some spotting that disappeared right after I wiped. From what I understand, you can't tell exactly whether you already O'd or are about to. I have another question: On cd20 (Wed), I noticed a lot of ewcm when I was bd'ing. Is it possible that was the day I ov'd and not the day I saw the blood? Was the blood a warning that O was on the way?
