Period Two Weeks Late BFN

My period is usually very regular, 28 days like clockwork, but this month it is two weeks late! I just took a HPT this morning (EPT), used my first morning urine, and it was a BFN. Can I take this to be pretty accurate? Is there a chance I could still be pregnant? Haven't really been having any symptoms of pregnancy or AF-- just a little bit of brown discharge today and I've been having slight cramps on and off for about the past two weeks. I guess this can go either way. Can I pretty much take it as a definite that I'm not pregnant or should I go to a clinic or something?

Btw it's not early menopause because I'm only 27.

Are you using bc?

some people will say since you are so late, you can pretty much rely on the test. but we both know it's hard to do that when you are so late and wondering! if it goes on much longer you could call your doctor to see what else could be wrong, or go in for a blood test - they are so much more accurate, in my opinion, that if you get a BFN on that too, then you can pretty much know you aren't PG. Are you really stressed out this month? This can make you late or miss AF. Really quick - I'm in your situation but I pray you aren't in mine.... I got BFN's on hpt's and then a BFP on my second blood test - didn't show at home because my hCG levels are soooooo low - so I will most likely miscarry - but there is an example of getting a BFN at home and a (SEMI!!) BFP on a blood test. Hang in there and call your doc if you can. Good luck!

Thanks Jena! Congratulations on the BFP, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the doctor is wrong! As for me -- I think I'm probably not pregnant, but I just want to know for sure. Especially now that I went back and looked at the test again in the sunlight and thought I could see the faintest possible positive line. Probably just imagining it though. I just want to know so I can stop obsessing and get on with my life! erica -- my boyfriend and I have been using the pull out method for the past 2 1/2 years. Good luck with the pregnancy, Jena! :)

i suggest - by the way if you get a positive result if you hold it to the light after 6 hours or more of it being done and squint with your right eye then it is still a negative

LOL, dur!
