Pregnancy Amp Temps

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to my question, but I just thought I'd ask to be sure. Is it possible for your temps to drop and still be pregnant? I'm just asking, because if the answer is no, as I think it is, then I won't bother wasting a pregnancy test. My periods have always been 3 days when on the pill and 5 days when off it. This month my period was only 1.5 days. Since my temps dropped at the same time, I've of course assumed it was AF, but today my left br___t has been *extremely* tender on the outside. This never happens, so I figured I'd just ask to see if there's a possibility that it could, in fact, be a pregnancy symptom. I don't want to waste the test otherwise. So, is it possible for the temps to drop and still be pregnant?

I've been getting really short periods now that I'm ttc. I KNOW I'm not preg. But you can always have an off month with temps. Hard to say. I'd give it a bit more time to see if your funny symptoms stick around or leave. Baby dust!!!!

basal body tempature you mean?

Yes, of course I mean basal body temperature. What else would I mean?

My temp is 97.9 what does that mean?

It means nothing by itself, but as long as you take your temperature with a basal thermometer every morning before you do anything else (get up to pee, drink anything, etc.), then you should be able to determine when you have ovulated based on changes in your basal temperature.
