Okay guys, my mom is a midwife and she asked today why my husband and I haven't started having kids yet, and I told her about my cycles and she suggested THIS: 1 tsp each of don quai, Siberian ginseng root, vitex berries, motherwort leaves, cramp bark and wild yam rhizome. Simmer in one qt water for 5 minutes, then turn the heat off and steep for 20 minutes. Drink 2 cups daily. Okay? I know I never share much on here, but I thought this sounded terrific, and she IS a midwife... so here it is! Oh, if this works for anyone (especially anyone that's been having a hard time getting pregnant) get back on here and let me know, okay?!

All herbs, right??? It's worth a short, huh??? :-) Have you tried it yet?? Going to try it?? Once heated up, can it be drank at room temp. or refridge. or must heat it up twice a day??? How long before she says you will get pg???

I'm starting it on Friday. And yeah, all herbs. My mom is all about natural help for pregnancy issues. AND once you make it it can be drank room temp, refridgerated or reheated, but NOT in the microwave, and NOT to boiling point, just warm enough to drink. Her BFF, Dotty, started it one month and was pregnant the next. LOL, AND my mom has eight kids. SO there ya go.

WOW! Why have you decided to start it on Fri??? Why not tomorrow since it's the beginning of the week... haha! :-) Okay, sorry if way too personal! I saved it and will try it! ya never know!!! I'm all about herbs and such! (I guess hence the Vitex and Damiana I'm taking... LOL) Good luck to you and let me know how it goes for you!

I have heard of crampbark and royal jelly for ttc...

Megs - January 21

Thanks Ursla! i am going to research all this and see what I can't find out! MOST certainly going to try the fertility tea and just see what happens... :-)

Well, I desided to start on Friday because THAT'S WHEN WE GET PAID!!! LOL. But seriously, that's why. And my period is due soon and I'd hate to waste it if I'm going to just start anyway. SO, if I'm not pregnant, then I'll start it Friday.

Can I get the ingredients at a local health food store (like Wild Oats) and are they expensive?

Megs - January 22

Promise, that's a VERY good reason as to why wait... LOL ;-) I feel ya! haha. I too will wait until af shows or I get a BFP, but then I won't need to use! haha. Krissy, I am going to reserach the ingredients and see if any of them are dangerous during pg........

Sounds good Promise! I hope it gets your body on track for a pregnancy....oh and Vitex (chasteberry), dong quai and wild yam should not be taken whilst pregnant... GL & GB darlin!

littlebee, you probably will NOT be able to get most of those ingredients at a health food store. you'll have to go to an herb shop. in my area the chinese and vietnamese pharmacy's are where these would be most easily purchased....and they are sooooooo cheap there!

PromiseJubilee - January 22

I WROTE IT IN WRONG!!! Okay, the don quai, Siberian ginseng root, and vitex berries you take ONLY UNTIL YOU O. Then the motherwort leaves, crampbark, and wild yam rhizome AFTER you ovulate! Yipes! I hope everyone gets this!
