Question About Ovulation Mucus

when does ovulation mucus appear and how long does it last? i should have ovulated on friday or saturday and i still have some mucus today (monday). is this normal?

I think it's normal to have some mucous. It tends to change from stretchy (or in some cases watery), during ovulation, to a thicker consistency after ovulation. The slippery phase starts a few days before ovulation, peaks around ov. and subsides around a day or so later. Also there is usually less fluid. But there is still some mucous. The driest phase is usually immediately after your period. It's better to be seeing mucous than to be bone dry. :-)
