I thought I finally started my af yesterday on cd 73..it started with unusual brown discharge, though..when normally (which means nothing) begins with pink and then into dark red. This brown was kinda watery at first. I came home, looked..my pad was completly dry and the brown was now really stringy and light on the tp. It has since completly vanished. I was wondering if this oculd be a sign of PCOS? i started temping this morning bc I was unsureo f my days..but should I go ahead and count yesterday as cd 1 or should i wait to see if anymore bloodflow comes?

FF says to count cd1 as your first day of red flow. If I were you... I'd just mark spotting if anything shows up on the pad. CD 73??? oh my...poor you.

Thanks for the reply! Since I havent started a chart yet, I need to probably just keep track of my temps and hold off on making one right? Yup, cd 73!! Ahhhh..its been like this for almost a year! Usually its around 50 days, though..lol.

Thanks Javisdgirl..I have not been to the Dr for it ina while. I went last May after going off bc in January..the Dr said that my cycles would regulate themself since I was normally 28 days pre-bc..and told me to give them a while...buuuuuut, my dh is in between insurances right now so i cant really go to the Dr and ask about it, yet. I made an appt this morning at a clinic on my campus for next week..and I will ask then. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS..and just after talking to some ladies who have it, and seeing the list of symptoms..i feel like it could vERY well be wahts going on with me. How long have you been diagnosed with PCOS? How long did it take you to get preg after being diagnosed? I am a lil disheartened bc I got preg before I went on bc, then went on bc after it, and now my cycles are sooo long. Ive been off the bc since Jan 06.

i was diagnosed with pcos in 05 3 months after my first m/c i have had one since then thanks to complications with clomid but then i was put on metformin to help treat the pcos and regulate me with the help of provera then i tried soy and the first month i tried it i got preg i am now 15.5 weeks

Javidsgirl, I know I've asked you before but what days/dosage did you use of Soy?? I called my Dr. about it today and am waiting to hear back... Just wanted to write it down so I can ask them about it specificially and sicne you too have PCOS and success maybe, just maybe! :-) Thanks!!! And Lerin, I have NO CLUE sweetie. :-( I never had the spotting prior to af coming. I do know that you only mark CD1 as full flow red blood. I hope af comes! Have you tested though?? Spotting could be implantation........ (Don't want to get your hopes up though)

wells megs i took it from cd1 - cd7 on the advice on a naturalpath becuase i was informed by every naturalpath i consulted that you should take it for 7 days only if you have true infertility if you unsure then i would recommend taking it for 5 days only ethier 3-7 or 5 - 9

of not on*, you are * sorry for the typos

Megs - February 21

I have googled local naturalpaths and am going to call them today to see what they say! :-) I guess we'll see... So I guess since my cycles are "normally" 30-36 days I should do the 5 days... :-) We'll see what they say! Thanks!!!!
