Maybe no one has an answer....they are not guaranteed...sorry

Bleeding gums can happen in pregnancy. I think it is an effect of hormones but I'm not sure. I am just past 6 weeks and have had a little bleeding in gums when brushing my teeth though not much. But yes it can happen in pregnancy . Hope that helps :o) xxx

I think anything can be possible. Everyone is different. Then again some ladies want to be pg so much they just look into something that they never noticed before and think it mite be a sign...Sorry for sounding harsh but it is true...Take a test the only way to be sure.

hi - May 16

i read here awhile ago where someone said that in early pregnancy the body needs more calcium. therefore your teeth can feel uncomfortable - i am by no means sure this is the case, but if anyone knows - please add to the discussion!

thank u hi, u were very helpful. and no the pain is genuine, i aint imgining it.

your gum pain could be a gum infection called gingevitis, which is more common in pregnancy, espicially early pregnancy, id go and see your dentist to see what he thinks

Grandpa Viv - May 16

Gingevitis in pregnancy has been linked to early delivery and low birth weight. Every pregnant woman should have her teeth cleaned professionally early in the pregnancy. Early bleeding IMHO would be from a combination of gum disease and vein dilation that comes with pregnancy.
