Wondering what I am doing wrong. LMC 2/3/05, 25 day cycle, s_x on the 13th. Thought I timed it just right. What am I doing wrong????

Hi Theresa! Me and my hubby have been trying for going on 14 months now for our first so I understand how hard it is. We are in a little bit of a different boat because we are only 23 and 24. This should be the prime years but it just hasn't happened yet. I read somewhere just yesterday that for anyone under thirty they should try for a year and then after a year consult a doctor to get checked over. After thirty it says get checked out after 6 months of trying. A persons chances at getting pregnant are very low even when everything is in prime condition, so don't be discouraged. Just because you have s_x at the right time of the month doesn't mean that you will get pregnant. Just keep at it and you may want to get to the doctor to see if there is anything further you could do to increase your chances. Hope this helped and good luck!!

Theresa, I know where you're coming from, I am in my early thirties and my husband and I have been trying for our first child for the past seven months. Who knew it took so long!! we spend our whole lives trying NOT to get pregnant that we never really realize just how difficult it is. Like you, I keep think that my timing is perfect each month and then when I take the test and it comes back neg it can be so frustrating, but I am now late for af with no period in sight so hopefully this is the one, if not we try again. Please don't give up or become too frustrated, when the time is right, it will happen for you (and me too) Cheers and good luck to you!!! Keep smiling!! :)
