about 3 weeks ago i came off of bc. 4 days after i was off of it i had some spotting for about 2 days or so. it was very light. i have missed a week in the oast and never had this before. my question is...does this count as a period or should i be counting from the pervious one? i am confused and just trying to figure out when i ovulated this month. anything will be helpful!

From my take NO, it doesn't count as a period its more like what drs. call breakthrough bleeding which happens when you stop the pill. This especially happens when you did not complete your month .

You are just going to have to wait it out until your normal cycle gets regulated again. In the meantime be sure to use condoms every time, use foam or film as a backup for condom failure, and stay away from temptation your fertile windiw days 8-16 of 28. Good luck!

well i called planned parenthood yesterday and asked them this same question. the nurse basically said the same thing you guys did. that it wasnt a period and i should be counting from my last normal one. so this morning i tested because it would be 7 days after af was due. i think i may have got a really LIGHT positive but i am not sure. i will test again in a few days

Autumn if you were still spotting and had blood in your urine when you took the test it's not going to work. Try again when you aren't. I think that's why it turned out really light and if you didn't pee on it enough it will not come out right either. Good luck keep us posted!
