EVRA Patch

the evra patch was coming off so I had replaced it with a back up patch and 20 mins later i had intercourse without any barriers. I've had the old patch on for almost 4-5 days I think, before replacing it. Will the new patch protect me or am I at risk of getting pregnant?

by the way I was 4 days into my period. Barely any blood left. Will this increase/decrease the chances of pregnancy?

Increase, because you will be closer to when you could enter your fertile window.

I have been on the Ortho Evra Patch for about a year and five months. I have learned alot about it.. and one of the things is yes, they do come off easy actually and they try to make it sound like it doesn't. You should be fine if you replaced it right away. Even if it falls off your still supposed to be protected for the next 24 hours. Also being four days into your period I wouldn't stress about it. Try wearing your patch on the back of your shoulder. It always works well for me because it stays on alot better! Good luck! :)

I have the patch and ive been on it for about two months now and ive only found one good spot to put it on and they do make it sound like it stays on well but it doesnt but my doctor told me if your edges start to come off that you can just put some sports tape on it so maybe you can try that next time if it isnt coming off to bad
