I've read a lot of your posts and you seem pretty knowledgeable so I figured I'd ask a couple of questions and see what you think. This is my first month on Clomid. It is prescribed for those of you who may wonder. I ovulate, but not regularly so I'm taking Clomid. Anyway, I took it on days 5-9 (Nov. 2nd - 6th) and on the 15th I had a lot of pain and pressure in my ovaries. My ob/gyn never did bloodwork to see if I had ovulated, but by the 17th, I had no pain or pressure. About 3 or 4 days later I started having small cramps which have continued, even to today. I can't really say I've felt nauseated, but I find I can't eat as much. I'm hungry, but if I try to finish my food, I feel so full that I feel sick. I made a stew about a week ago, and it did have tomato sauce (tomato puree for those aussies and englanders) in it so i understand if i got heartburn from that, but we finished that days ago and I still have really bad heartburn. Like to the point to where I actually am burping up bile. (gross i know sorry!) I have been so tired lately. I sleep 5-6 hours a night, something I have always done, but lately, I nap a lot and I can't seem to get up. I have had a lot of gas (poor hubby still taking the blame in public) and had to use the restroom a lot. There have been a few times now that I feel a warm almost rush of liquid like when af makes her grand entrance, but when I run (literally) to the bathroom, it's just cm. My cp is high (not as high as before) and kinda soft. I know that can change depending on how full your bowels are. My lower back has been hurting a lot lately, but not as much as a few days ago. But it is to where I need a pillow behind my back when I drive. And I have driven a lot. It's only been bothering me recently. Oh yes! And my bb's are super sore. Nothing new with that because when af is on her way, they hurt, but this is different. They hurt right at the tips, like they are bruised. It hurts to wash them in the shower or even let the shower spray them. And we have terrible water pressure! I have had a headache every day for the past 4 days now. Also, I guess because my doc had diagnosed me with PCOS, I used to get a few stray thick hairs under my chin before af, but none so far. And I mean I haven't gone without getting them for years now. And I don't have acne like usual before af. See, even when I was irregular, I would still get these things like clockwork monthly, even if af didn't show that month. The reason I ask all this is because of this: I had all that pain and pressure on the 15th and 16th. If I had not ovulated, shouldn't the pain have lasted longer than that? My doc told me to not bother getting excited or testing until cd45-50 and I'm on cd34 right now, but I was wondering if you thought I should test sooner than cd45. But I really want to know what you think about the pain going away like that. I've asked that a lot and not really gotten too clear of an answer. Either that or I've been dumb and just haven't seen it. I apologise for the long message, but as each day passes, I get more and more hopeful and dang it, I at least want af if not a bfp. Time for bed for me, but I'll check back in tomorrow.

Since Clomid fools the glands into doing unusual things, it is difficult to know if the symptoms you quote are from unusual progesterone production or from pregnancy. Absent the Clomid, I would say your signs are good and you could begin testing once a week using first morning pee, starting any day soon. Dollar Store tests work fine and will not bankrupt you. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Yeah my doc said that it sounded good that I had the cramps and stuff because I suppose if it hadn't worked, I wouldn't feel my ovaries working. And I never had before, but boy howdy I felt it that time lol. I'll talk to dh tonight and see if he wants to head out to a Dollar Tree to get a test. I'm only 2 days late, though, and kind of wonder if I should wait to test until a few more days, but we're driving to Dallas next Friday and I'd rather have something to tell my sister because everyone asks me if my period has started and how things are going lol.
