Im Doubting The Doctors Results

i went to the doctor last week to get some testing done for other health problems. while i was there i asked them to go ahead and perform a pregnancy test becaue i am s_xually active and use no protection at all and have been having symptoms. the test came out negative and i know that im only 16 and that im young but my periods have always been regular; i have NEVER skipped. i dont want to be pregnant but if i am i will live with this mistake since i made that decision when i did it. what im asking is am i over reacting or is it possible that their test was inaccurate? i am almost a month late and its never happened before.

What type of test did the doctor take? Blood or urine? Even though you are only 16, having s_x can disrupt your regularity of periods since you are fairly young. I would trust the doctors results, but monitor your body for any unusual changes that would cause you to alert your doctor. All in all, I suspect you are not pregnant. Good Luck

If you were 2 weeks late when the doc did a urine test, I would tend to believe it unless you have good early preg signs. Just skipping one period is not unusual. If you miss two in a row I would be asking what's up? maybe you should call the doc back and ask for bc pills, or at least invest in condoms and v____al spermicide. Good luck!
